El Forge to buy stake in U.K. firm

CHENNAI: El Forge has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the board of directors of the company at its meeting held on May 22 has approved the acquisition of a majority stake in Shakespeare Forgings Ltd (SFL), Birmingham, of the U.K. SFL is a forging company catering to the automotive, agricultural, mining and other segments mainly in the U.K.
