Back Commodity fair to discuss marketing issues

INDIA International Commodity Fair 2005, a four-day gathering of stakeholders in coconut, coir, tea, coffee, cashew, spices and rubber, will be held here from June 15.

The conference, organised by Mumbai-based Tefla's Conferences and Events Pvt Ltd, will provide a neutral platform to examine the challenges of production and marketing of the commodities, besides forecasting demand and supply.

It will also present the latest research and knowledge integral to globalisation and address issues of global trade dynamics and price outlook.

Addressing a press meet, Mr Kailash Singh, Managing Director, Tefla's Conferences, said there would be seven independent conferences - Coconut Asia, Coir Asia, India Coffee Congress, T-World, World Rubber Congress, India Spices Congress and India Cashew Congress.

Mr S. Sundaresan, Chairman, Forward Markets Commission, will participate in most of the conferences, including the inauguration of the fair. A special session has been planned on demand supply, price outlook and forecast; and projecting the future trends.
