Central School registers 92 p.c. passes

BIJAPUR: Central School, Bijapur, has registered a pass percentage of 92.3 in the tenth standard examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Of the 26 students who appeared for the examination, 24 have passed.

This is the best performance by the school in recent years. Kalyani Ashok Kale stands first in the school by scoring 90 per cent marks while Sneha Sanjeev Pingle, who stands second, has secured 89 per cent marks.

Prerana Suresh Hittalamani stands third in the school. She has secured 97 marks in mathematics, which is the highest marks scored in any subject. While Kalyani Kale and Rupal Raj have got 96 marks each in Hindi, Sneha Pingle has got 95 in social studies, the principal of the school, Tyagi said in a press release.
