Nizamabad records 47 degree Celsius

HYDERABAD: Day temperatures changed little in the State on Wednesday. The State's highest temperature for the day was recorded by Nizamabad at 47 degree Celsius.

There was isolated rain over Telangana and Rayalaseema while weather was dry in Coastal Andhra. Holagunda and Pamidi received 1 cm rainfall each.

According to a forecast issued by the State Met Office, there will be isolated rains in the three regions of the State on Thursday.

The following stations recorded day temperatures of above 40 degree Celsius on Wednesday:

Bhadrachalam 43.6 C, Hakimpet Airport 43 C, Hyderabad Airport 42.5 C, Khammam 40.3 C, Medak 44.8 C, Nalgonda 45.3 C, Ramagundam 45.2 C, Anatnapur 41.7 C, Cuddapah 43.1 C, Kurnool 41.8 C, Nandyal 43.6 C, Nandigama 43.8 C, Tirupati Airport 43.4 C, Nellore 41 C, Ongole 40 C and Vijayawada Airport 41.6 degree Celsius.
