Workshop on bioproducts

The Women Entrepreneurship Promotional Association (WEPA) is organising a three-day workshop on bioproducts at Thirupulivanam Village, Uthiramerur Taluk in Kancheepuram.

Twenty acres of land has been allotted as part of the Integrated Wasteland Development Projects to train local people to economically, environmentally and socially develop their village. The workshop begins on Thursday and concludes on Saturday for 100 people at the Community Hall.

The WEPA, with support from the Union Ministry of Small Scale and Rural Industries, is also organising a workshop on May 29 at R.V. Towers, Guindy, on herbal and jatropha extract manufacture and marketing.
