5 held, stolen property recovered

HYDERABAD: The East Zone police on Thursday recovered stolen property worth Rs. 3 lakhs with the arrest of five persons; including a seventh standard student. A resident of Dabeerpura, Md. Ahmed Hussain, 14. was picked up by the Chaderghat police. He confessed to having lifted two bikes and a scooter from different parts of the city. In another case, Md. Shaik Yousuf Shareef, 17, and Md. Ghouse, 28, were held on theft charge. Gold ornaments weighing 13 tolas were recovered from them.
