Back Water levels decline in Kerala reservoirs

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water levels at the State's three major reservoirs of Idukki, Idamalayar and Kallada have recorded a decline when compared to those of the previous week.

According to figures released by the Central Water Commission, the level declined from 2310.42 ft to 2306.52 ft at Idukki; 433.96 ft to 427.76 ft at Idamalayar; and 309.58 ft to 306.04 ft at Kallada.

Year-on-year recordings also revealed declines respectively of 6.74 ft, 8.96 ft and 16.27 ft in these reservoirs.
