Back Chamber hails TN move

MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TNCC&I), hailing the constitution of a 17-member committee by the State Government to examine the Confederation Indian Industry-sponsored study for industrialisation of the southern districts, has described the move as a pro-active and result-oriented measure.

In a statement, TNCC&I President, Mr S. Rethinavelu, appreciating the move to form district level panels/ task forces for identifying viable projects and to conduct district-level meetings with local chambers of commerce and industry and trade association, has said that the measures coupled with the implementation of major infrastructure projects in the region will accelerate growth in southern districts.
