Back Karnataka: SBI ties up with BPCL

BANGALORE: State Bank of India and 8 associate banks have entered into an agreement with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) for enhancing card usage at fuel stations.

The facility was rolled out by SBI's Chief General Manger Mr R. Sridharan at a retail outlet in Bangalore. Under this facility, there would be no fuel surcharge payable by cardholders on purchase of fuel and lubricants on customers using their ATM-cum-debit cards and the State Bank Cash Plus.

This facility would be available at all BPCL retail outlets in the country effective from today, according to a bank release.
