Electrocuted

A 10-year-old girl, Asra Begum of Santoshnagar, died after she came in contact with a high-tension wire hanging from an electric pole on Thursday. She was declared brought dead upon arrival at a private hospital.

Air Force guard ends life

A guard with the Indian Air Force, K. Chudamani (32), who reportedly consumed poison while on duty at the College of Air Warfare, Secunderabad, on Wednesday died on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Military Hospital.

A resident of HAL Colony, Balanagar, he went to the college last night for attending to guard duty.

There, he reportedly took the drastic step. A suicide note purportedly written by him, stated that he was vexed with life and that no

one was responsible for his

death.

Relieved of ornaments
