Back Coke scheme to clear garbage in Hyderabad Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: Coca-Cola India in association with the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) and the Jubilee Hills Civic Exnora (JHCE) has taken up a scheme to make Hyderabad a garbage free zone. A pilot project was launched in the Jubilee Hills area by the Municipal Commissioner, Mr Sanjay Jaju. Coca-Cola would provide 5 PET collection bins, 25 jacket/caps to street beautifiers. The company has already been associated in similar projects in Visakhapatnam, a company press release said. JCHE is a non-profit organisation run by housewives of the Jubilee Hills area, with the objective of collecting domestic garbage from households. They are into garbage collection, segregation, vermin-composting and rehabilitation of street beautifiers.
