ADILABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister, K. Rosaiah, was airlifted to Hyderabad on Thursday afternoon from Adilabad after he complained of uneasiness and extreme weakness. He was here to inaugurate a private eye hospital and attend an official programme at Pippalkuti village in Tamsi mandal. Mr. Rosaiah had complained of uneasiness and weakness since 8 a.m. when he arrived at the R&B guest house from Nizamabad to attend the scheduled programmes during the day. After inaugurating the L.V. Prasad Eye Institute-managed hospital, he sat on the dais and soon complained of extreme weakness. As he wished to leave by car to Mancherial town (160 km from Adilabad) immediately to take a train for Hyderabad, the Collector, R. Subba Rao, suggested airlifting him.
