At the first meeting of the Indian and Chinese delegation to discuss the modalities for the operationalisation of the customs co-operation agreement, both sides exchanged views on prevention, detection and investigation of customs offences.

While the Chinese delegation was headed by Mr Ye Jian, Vice-Minister, General Administration of China Customs, the Indian delegation was led by the Chairman of the Central Board of Excise and Customs, Mr A.K. Singh.
