AICC announces names of seven DCC chiefs

HYDERABAD: The All-India Congress Committee (AICC) has announced the names of seven District Congress Committee chiefs.

The chairman of the State Election Authority, G. S. Basavaraj, in a release on Thursday, named Venugopal Reddy as the Anantapur DCC president, Dronamraju Srinivas (Visakhapatnam city), Pyla Somi Naidu (Vijayawada city), Radhakrishna (Guntur city), Muppalaneni Seshagiri Rao (Guntur district), S. Prakash (Mahabubnagar) and Mallesh Goud (Nalgonda).

In the latest list, the AICC has accommodated the names of three Backward Class leaders.
