Respite for private bus operators

Two-hour relaxation follows a representation to the Home Minister

HYDERABAD: The State Government has temporarily given a two-hour relaxation for private bus operators to enter the city limits.

Private buses will now be allowed to enter the city up to 8 a.m. and from 10 p.m. onwards.

The relaxation followed a representation by the bus operators' association to the Home Minister, K. Jana Reddy, on Thursday.

Regular meetings

The Minister also reviewed the law and order situation arising out of the spate of killings and robberies in the city and outskirts with senior police officials.
