Differential power tariff ruled out

HYDERABAD: The Government has ruled out implementation of differential power tariff for the same category of consumers across the four distribution companies as a result of the transfer of power purchase agreements with them. Referring to the news item that appeared in these columns on Thursday, the principal secretary, Energy, S.V. Prasad, said the Government would keep the consumer tariff uniform across all the discoms.
