Back Wal-Mart award for Ranbaxy arm

NEW DELHI: Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd's wholly owned subsidiary, Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Inc, has received the Supplier Award from Wal-Mart, the largest chain store in the US, for the first quarter of 2005.

"Your Company has been outstanding in meeting the criteria for this award, based upon improvement in areas of on-time shipping, performance, innovative programs and partnership," according to Mr Dave Dible, Executive Vice-President, Wal-Mart.
