Back Arch Pharma, Spanish co tie up

MANGALORE: Arch Pharmalabs Ltd, a manufacturer of pharmaceutical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients, has signed a deal with a product originator and patent holder to produce active pharmaceutical ingredients at its Gurgaon plant.

A press release issued here said that the company has signed a technology transfer agreement with Groupo Uriach, a Spanish pharmaceutical group, for the manufacture of two products.

Besides this, Arch Pharmalabs has signed similar agreements with other European companies for technology transfer. The company had recently acquired an active pharmaceutical ingredients facility in Gurgaon from Apollo International Ltd. It has two manufacturing locations near Mumbai and one in Hyderabad.
