Back Outlook guide to Kerala, Lakshadweep

THE New Delhi-based Outlook group has launched a travel guide to Kerala and Lakshadweep as part of its Outlook Traveller Getaways series of guides.

Speaking at the book's launch here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister, Mr Oommen Chandy, said the guidebook would be of tremendous use to visitors to the State.

Mr Maheshwar Peri, President and Publisher, Outlook group, said the travel guide to Kerala and Lakshadweep is the tenth book in the Outlook Traveller Getaways series.

The book, priced Rs 225, is more than a travel guide and offers interesting insight into the culture and heritage of the State, he added. The book, which is supported by Kerala Tourism, has articles written by well-known writers on various aspects of life in Kerala.

The Tourism Minister, Mr K.C. Venugopal, and the Director, Department of Tourism, Mr B. Suman, were present at the launch.
