Back Fuel price hike

Prices of petrol and diesel need not necessarily go up every time the international crude oil prices rise.

Rather, the inefficiencies and the extravagant spending by oil companies should come down.

So also should the wastage, pilferage and adulteration of petrol and diesel across the country.

Fuel price hike can actually enhance the environmental quality and conserve rapidly depleting energy resources for future generations.
