The State Government notification of an increase in the minimum wages of rubber, coffee, tea and cardamom plantation workers has effected a 30 per cent increase in the wages of rubber plantation workers and 16 per cent increase for the rest. The increase will be Rs 11.25 for rubber plantation workers and Rs 5.55 for the others.
