HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh would host a three-day `Pravasi Bharatiya Divas' scheduled to be held from January seven.

Accepting the proposal of the Union Minister of State for Non-resident Affairs, Mr Jagadish Tytler, the State Government has agreed to constitute a committee to ensure smooth conduct of the event.

Mr Tytler met the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, here on Wednesday.

Mr Tytler told the Chief Minister that similar events held in Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram and Gurgaon had resulted in huge flows of investments, a Government release said.
