Back Eureka Forbes to introduce new model vacuum cleaner

EUREKA Forbes Ltd will introduce in the Chennai market a new model of vacuum cleaner, Euroclean Ace, on Friday.

According to Eureka Forbes's General Manager, Mr S. Muralidharan, Euroclean Ace aimed at the household market is crafted to generate more power from its 1,300-Watt motor, as compared to other machines of the same power to ensure deep cleaning of floors and furnishing.

This ensures effective removal of dust mites which are responsible for allergic reactions.

Mr Shashank Sinha, Senior Product Manager, Eureka Forbes, said that its mild steel body ensures durability and is portable since it weighs 6 kg. At Rs 6,590, it comes with a wide range of accessories that will help take on all the cleaning needs in a house, he said.

Eureka Forbes continues to opt for the direct marketing route, which accounts for about 80 per cent of its sales. This way it maintains a closer contact with its customers, he said.

Eureka Forbes is a market leader in vacuum cleaners with an 85 per cent share of the 2.5 lakh vacuum cleaners sold annually in India.

The southern market accounts for about 44 per cent of the purchases, Mr Sinha said.
