Back Big corporates pick Nalsar students at campus recruitment

LAW graduates from the Nalsar Law University here have got placement offers with leading firms and corporates, with pay packages in the range of Rs 3-9 lakh per annum.

Leading legal firms like Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co; P&A Law Offices, Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, AZB & Partners, Nishit Desai from Mumbai were among the firms that recruited through campus placements.

Ernst & Young, ICICI Bank Ltd, Cholamandalam, General Insurance Alternative Law Forum, Wipro Technology, Poovayya & Co and Khaitan & Co were other corporates which offered placements.

More than 10 positions of judicial clerks (research assistants) to the judges of Supreme Court of India were offered to the students.

The third convocation of NALSAR is slated for July 16. The Chief Justice of India, Mr R.C. Lahoti, will be the chief guest and deliver the convocation address.

The Chief Justice would also inaugurate the M.K. Nambyar SAARC Law Centre in the campus situated in Shameerpet on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The Centre has been built with a donation of Rs 50 lakh given by Mr K.K. Venugopal, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court.
