Sabarimala temple opens tomorrow

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Lord Ayyappa Temple at Sabarimala will be opened on Saturday afternoon for the five-day monthly puja in the Malayalam month of Karkidakom beginning Sunday.

The puja will begin with Ganapati homam being performed by Tantri Kantaru Mohanaru on Sunday morning. The auspicious ashtabhishekom, udayasthamana puja, padi puja and pushpabhishekom will be performed on all five days. The temple will be closed after athazha puja on July 21 evening.
