NC(I) gives slots for former MLAs

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The National Congress (Indira) has acknowledged the nine MLAs who resigned from the Assembly recently by providing them slots in the party hierarchy.

According to NC(I) president K. Muraleedharan, D. Sugathan has been made vice-president and Shobhana George general secretary. M.P. Gangadharan, N.D. Appachan, Radha Raghavan, Malethu Saraladevi and M.A. Chandrasekharan have been nominated as members of the party executive committee. P. Sankaran has been appointed National Lawyers Congress State president and T.V. Chandra Mohan convener of the State Labour Cell. The NC(I) has set up feeder organisations in almost all segments, covering labour, students, youths, women, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
