HYDERABAD: The larger bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court was informed that the Andhra Pradesh Commission for Backward Classes did not consider relevant material before giving its recommendation regarding providing reservation to the Muslim community though objections were brought to it's notice about various issues regarding the backwardness of the Muslim community. The bench comprising of five judges -- acting Chief Justice Bilal Nazki, Justice G. Raghuram, Justice V.V.S. Rao, Justice N.V. Ramana and Justice R. Subhash Reddy -- on the third day continued to hear the arguments on behalf of petitioners in a batch of writ petitions challenging the action of the Government in issuing an ordinance providing for reservations to Muslims in education and employment.
