Back A. Ramasubramaniam appointed Ashok Leyland ED

MR A. RAMASUBRAMANIAM, till recently the CEO of Eicher Tractors, is the new Executive Director - Product Development, at Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship.

He takes over from Mr M. Natraj, who will be responsible for the Advanced Engineering Group and the newly formed Design and Engineering Services Group.

According to a press release from Ashok Leyland, Mr Ramasubramaninam has three decades of experience in automotive design, engineering and operations. As the Head of Product Development at Eicher Motors for a decade, he was responsible for the indigenous development of models, from light commercial vehicles to medium duty vehicles. As CEO of Eicher Tractors, he was also Head for engine development in the Eicher Group.
