BANGALORE: Bangalore's stressed out IT professionals and others in competitive working environments need avenues to wind down. Providing such opportunities on a large scale and with the added promise of `making friends with like-minded people is an organisation called Rock n' Rendezvous, being launched on July 30.

According to its promoter, M.K. Kishore, himself a software engineer with several years experience in the U.S., the online site, www.rocknrend.com, will come up with events such as Latin dance evenings, bowling meets, golf outings, wine tasting and a lot of just fun events. "The idea of leisure networks is common in the U.S. and it is time for the concept to catch on in a city such as Bangalore,'' he says. Bangaloreans undoubtedly like having fun and let us see what this concept is going to be like.
