BMP builds electric crematorium

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Mahanagara Palike has built an electric crematorium at Medi Agrahara in Yelahanka hobli.

The crematorium, constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.4 crores in 18 months, has two furnaces, two waiting rooms and two toilet blocks, and is located on five acres of government land. It will be opened on Wednesday.
