Back Greenpeace activists dump sludge at PCB office entrance Our Bureau
Hyderabad , July 27 IN a bid to attract the attention of Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) to the chemical crisis in the neighbouring Medak district, about 30 Greenpeace activists turned up at PCB's headquarters at Sanathnagar and dumped sludge at the entrance. Caught off guard, both PCB's security guards and policemen tried to control the protestors. Raising slogans and carrying banners, the protestors dumped the toxic sludge brought in buckets from Asanikunta Lake. They wanted Mr S.K. Sinha, Member-Secretary of PCB, to come out and discuss the issue with them.
