Back Gas trouble

Kochi is experiencing severe shortage of cooking gas, allegedly due to diversion of subsidised LPG for use in motor vehicles. The District Motor Vehicles Department has launched a drive against vehicles using domestic LPG. The indefinite lorry strike from midnight on Sunday is expected to worsen the situation.
