Back Surana Tele revenues dip, net spurts Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: Surana Telecom has suffered a dip in its revenues for the first quarter ended June 30, 2005, to Rs 21.82 crore from Rs 35.74 crore during the corresponding quarter last year. However, its net rose to Rs 4.08 crore (Rs 1.19 crore). During fiscal 2005, the company recorded total income of Rs 119.17 crore and a net profit of Rs 12.46 crore. Earnings per share for the quarter is Rs 1.81 at a face value of Rs 5 as against Rs 0.53 per share at a face value of Rs 5 for the corresponding period last year. The company has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange about the Rs 25-crore order that it has bagged from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd for the supply of telecom cables.
