CLB reserves order on Purnendu petition

NEW DELHI: The Company Law Board (CLB) on Thursday reserved its interim order on a petition filed by the Purnendu Chatterjee group, challenging the allotment of 7.5 per cent equity of Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., by issuance of fresh shares, to Indian Oil Corporation. Reserving the interim order after hearing arguments of all parties, including the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC), CLB Chairman S. Balasubramanian posted the matter for September 27 for final hearing.
