Running for a noble cause

BANGALORE: The Freedom Run, organised by Titan for the second year now, will be a mini marathon with over a thousand employees from the company running the 10-km stretch from the Hosur township to the watch plant.

Contestants have to complete the distance in less than two hours, and for each participant who does, the company will donate Rs. 500 to an organisation working for underprivileged children. What is encouraging is that people are willing to take up the challenge on a holiday to help underprivileged children.
