BANGALORE: The independent committee headed by retired civil servant P.S.S. Thomas will meet on Friday to review the public's suggestions to and complaints against the comprehensive Draft Master Plan 2015. So far the Bangalore Development Authority has received over 1,500 comments. The plan developed by the Bangalore Development Authority in association with the French consultancy agency, SEC Crocean, deals with land use zoning and development of the city in a planned way. It divides the city into zones such as the hi-tech zone and industrial zone. The plan also proposes integrating different types of structures in the different zones. Revitalisation of the older parts of town such as Cottonpet, Chikpet, Malleswaram and Shivaji Nagar are part of the plan.
