Back Glenmark launches osteoporosis drug

INDIA has more than 12 million cases of osteporosis and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd expects to cater to this market with its recently launched medicine, Stronat.

The drug, Strontium Ranelate, sold under the brand name Stronat will be marketed through its two divisions, Glenmark and Integrace. Stronat is a once-a-day therapy that will be sold on prescriptions, a company note said.
