Luxury add-ons by Tata Motors
Tata Motors plans to offer more value to its customers by adding luxury features to the economy variants of its sedans. Tata Motors has launched the SX series of the Indigo. The SX (diesel) and GSX (petrol) variants are luxury versions of the sedan, and both complying with the BS III pollution norms. The new variants also come with an MP3 music system, a VCD player and two LCD screens. Leather is the theme of its interior, with leather seats and leather strappings on the steering wheel and gearshift knob. The sedan features a height adjustable driver's seat, an electronic instrument cluster and a rear armrest. The SX series also feature eleven spoke alloy wheels. The SX costs Rs 6.14 lakh and the GSX, Rs 5.8 lakh. On the Indica V2, Tata Motors is offering accessories worth Rs 30,000. The car is equipped with a 32-bit microprocessor to regulate the flow of fuel designed to enhance the efficiency of the car. The offer closes on August 30.
Corsa and Sail at lower prices
General Motors is offering the Sail at Rs 3.89 lakh and the special edition Opel Corsa at Rs 4.29 lakh. However, the offer is available only for customers who opt for a financing scheme of at least Rs 4 lakh. The offer, which opened on August 12, is open up to August 29. An optional warranty and service package for three years is also available at Rs 1,122 for 12 months on the cars, but only for payments made through ICICI credit cards.
Offers from Ford
Ford has come out with a special offer on its SUV (sports utility vehicle). Customers are entitled to a two-year extended warranty free of cost or a cash discount in lieu of the same on purchase of the Endeavour. Ford is also offering a 20 per cent discount on spares and 50 per cent on audio systems for cars affected by the monsoon in Mumbai. It is also providing corrosion and paint protection treatment, and two additional free services, which include the costs of labour, consumables-oil, fuel filters and engine oil. The additional service offers can be utilised within the next one-year.
