Maxi-cab driver commits suicide

BIDAR: A maxi-cab driver allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison in Bidar on Sunday night.

The body of Ratan alias Shivakumar Ghanti, 22, was found near Basaveshwara Circle on Hyderabad road on Monday. It is said that he had taken loans and could not earn enough to pay for his children's education.

He had left his house on Wednesday. It is said that he consumed poison on Sunday night. His body was handed over to his relatives after the post-mortem, police said.
