Back Rajiv award

THE Global Economic Council has awarded Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani Award to Dr K.M. Thomas, Vice-President, Analytical Research & Development with Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals Ltd, for outstanding individual achievement and distinguished service to the nation.

The award was presented by Mr R.L. Bhatia, Governor of Kerala, on Monday at a function held in New Delhi. The award is presented every year to achievers in various fields.

Dr Thomas was earlier awarded the eminent Pharmaceutical Analyst Award by the Indian Drug Manufacturers Association in 2004 in recognition to his contribution to pharmaceutical analysis and research.
