Back Clarification

With reference to the news item captioned `Big names likely in second round of bids for FM radio' that appeared in these columns on August 24, Radio Mirchi clarifies that Radio City in Lucknow and Radio Mirchi in Pune have not shut down - both had given 12 months conditional notices to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting late last year. As per the current situation, Radio Mirchi has withdrawn the notice to the Government and filed the letter with the I&B Ministry.
