India loses to Poland

Algiers: India lost to Poland 22-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 7-15 in Pool `C' on the opening day of the World Youth men's (under-19) volleyball championship at Oran near here on Wednesday. Bulgaria was declared winner (25-0, 25-0, 25-0) in Pool `B' as Mexico arrived late because of visa problems.
