Bopanna upsets Pashanski

NEW DELHI: Rohan Bopanna overpowered the 135th ranked top seed Boris Pashanski of Serbia Montenegro 6-3, 6-2 in the quarterfinals of the $25,000 Challenger tennis tournament in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, on Thursday.

In doubles he reached the final along with Kyu Tae Im of Korea. The Indo-Korean combination beat Sergei Krotiouk and Andre Stoliarov of Russia 3-6, 7-6 (2), 7-5 in the semifinals.
