Back ICFAI placement scheme at Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: The ICFAI University has announced a special placement scheme for students of its distance learning programmes.

Mr Rao V.S, senior area manager (Andhra Pradesh), said at a press meet here on Saturday that the university had come to an agreement with Alchemist HR Services Private Ltd to place the students of MS (Finance), MBA and MCA courses in corporates at an entry-level salary of Rs 20,000 a month.

He said Alchemist was currently operating from eight centres - Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune.

He said the university was offering assured employment to successful students. Admissions to the distance learning courses were open to students round the year, he said.

The fees for the three courses would be Rs 80,000. Apart from the three, he said, the university was also offering two-year MS courses in accounting, banking and insurance.
