With Onam round the corner, every business establishment worth the name is making all out efforts to woo customers. Home appliances, which come with attractive offers and other freebies, tend to dominate the shopping list of several households. There is a heavy rush at some of the leading textile showrooms. The jewellery shops too are doing roaring business, though as usual, nobody is willing to come out with the sales figures.
