Supplyco sales touch Rs. 4 cr.

KOCHI: Onam sales by the Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation have recorded a turnover of Rs.4 crores since August 30 through its Onam sales outlets.

According to a press release from the corporation on Monday the sales was better than previous years.

It said that the civil supplies corporation had kept the prices of essential commodities and vegetables under check.

Bananas sold in the market at Rs.22 a kg were sold at Rs.16 a kg at Supplyco stores.
