FACT quiz from September 27

BANGALORE: Child Relief and You (CRY), an organisation working for child rights, has arranged the sixth edition of its FACT quiz from September 27.

Initiated by CRY volunteers in 1998, the quiz is aimed at enabling corporates participate in a movement.

Over the years, the quiz has attracted participation from 680 companies and 1,600 individuals.

In the last seven years, the quiz has raised about Rs. 50 lakhs as sponsorship from 100 companies, impacting the lives of over 6,000 children, according to CRY.

With this year's FACT quiz, the organisation hopes to build on this and cover more children from the underprivileged sections of society.

The quiz finals will be hosted by well-known quiz master Derek O' Briean.

The regional round will be hosted by a new face, Gautam Bhimani. Bhimani, incidentally, is also a sports commentator.
