The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched an advance booking counter at its newly opened satellite bus stand at Byatarayanapura on Mysore Road. Those interested can call 9844395107. KSRTC has introduced facilities for BMTC buses to ply Mysore-bound passengers to and from different locations in the city, including Koramangala, Chandapura, Chikkabanawara, Yelahanka and Marathahalli.

Two-wheeler repair

RUDSET Institute has organised a one-month two-wheeler repair training programme in October.

The training will be free of cost. Unemployed youth from Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban and Tumkur districts, aged between 18 and 35 can attend an interview on Monday at 10 a.m.

Cartoons invited

The Karnataka Cartoonists' Association has invited cartoons to be exhibited at the Kannada Sammelana scheduled to be held in Pondicherry on October 15 and 16.

The selected cartoons will be displayed in different parts of the State.

The topics for the cartoons should be on Kannada language and culture, besides political and cultural events in the State and the country. Each entry should be accompanied by four cartoons of 10" X 8" size.

The cartoons should be sent to the association on or before October 5 to S.V. Padmanabha, 56, Rama Nilaya, 2nd A Cross, Srinivasanagar, Banashankari 1st Stage, Bangalore - 560085.
