CHENNAI: To clear extra rush of passengers, Southern Railway will run the following special trains: Train no 0633 Chennai Egmore-Thiruvananthapuram special will leave Egmore at 8 p.m. on September 23 and reach Thiruvanathapuram at 1.30 p.m. the next day. In the return direction it will leave Thiruvanathapuram at 4.45 p.m. on September 25 and arrive here at 9 a.m. the next day. The specials will run via Tiruchi, Madurai, Tirunelveli and Nagercoil.

Train no 0601 Chennai Central-Mangalore special will leave Central at 5 p.m. on September 24 and reach Mangalore at 8.30 a.m. the next day. Reservation will start on September 22.
