Easily, one of the most popular young actresses among today's generation is Trisha. She might have begun her career with "Lesa Lesa" (lightly) but one cannot take her lightly. She has done films in all the South Indian languages, particularly in Tamil and Telugu. Trisha talks about her school friends, career and desires. I am friendly with people. I am loyal to my friends who can look to me. I am also a stubborn person. I studied in Church Park Convent and Ethiraj College. I chose acting as my profession as I was very much interested in the field. Had I not got the opportunity to enter this profession, I would have become a psychologist. I hope to get a chance at least to act as a psychologist in a film during my career. I have done nearly ten films in Tamil. Each one is good in its own way. But if you want me to pick the best then I will gladly choose "Samy". It was a memorable film and a turning point in my career. My role in the film was well appreciated by people and they call me `Mami'. My advantage is people take me as a girl from the South. As I have given box-office hits, my fans expect me such films from me. I work hard and try to give big hits. I am a thorough professional and would like to work with all heroes in the South. If I get a chance to act with Kamal Haasan and Rajnikant, I will really be honoured. I like Kamal, Rajnikant and Simran in Tamil, Salman Khan and Rani Murkerjee in Hindi and Tom Hanks and Mil Gibson and Julia Roberts. I also like Angelina Jolly. If you ask me to choose from my ten Tamil films it will be difficult. All my films are good and how can one leave out "Samy" or for that matter "Ghilli" or acting in Mani Ratnam's "Yuva" or Iutha Ezhuthu". All are good experiences. But it was Priyadharshan who introduced me to film industry in his film "Lesa Lesa". He is a big influence in my life. I have done some good films and I want to do more meaningful films and when I leave this field I want people to say that Trisha has contributed much to the silver screen. I am working towards that. Someone asked me which part of my body was beautiful. I do not have an answer to it. But my fans say that I have beautiful eyes. But I would say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.
